The firm has its origin in "Alves da Cunha & Ançã Henriques, Statutory Auditing Firm", established in 1990 by partners José Luís Areal Alves da Cunha and Abilio Ançã Henriques. Later on, José Duarte Assunção Dias and António Baia Engana joined also as partners. António Domingos Henrique Coelho Garcia also joined the firm as a partner from 2000 to 2013, the year he ceased his practice as statutory auditor.

The firm originally brought together the wide and diversified experience of its two founders. With the increasing number of partners and the simultaneous increase of its share capital, the technical capacity of the firm expanded and its financial autonomy was enhanced, enabling the development of new skills and the diversification of service offerings. Through his example, unique personality and outstanding curriculum, it should be noted the remarkable contribution to this firm given by António Coelho Garcia, during the years he honored us with his committed participation.

In the Statutory Auditor's Firm List our firm is number 74, and it is also enrolled under number 20161408, in the Auditor's List at CMVM(Portuguese Securities Market Commission).
